A.Farm residency
A. Farm is a collaborative residency project from the Nguyen Art Foundation, MoT+++, and Sàn Art. It opened in June 2018 with 6 large studios, a spacious exhibition room and a sunlit courtyard. A. Farm would like to encourage every artist of any age and any career stage to examine how this platform might benefit their artistic practices.
Constance Meffre
Borned in 1979 in South of France. Interested by acts of resistance : critical practices of technologies, ecological fields in art ( environnemental, societal and mental forms), feminism, counterculture, through the performative, installation, sound, video forms and collective practices, decompartmentalization through mobility …
Has a special interested for Asia where she goes every year since 2003 through projects, exchanges, residencies, experimentation…
Moved to Marseille in 2010, founds and directs D.D.A Contemporary Art based in Grands Bains Douches Gallery where she develops activities of accompaniment of artists in production. She experiments curatorial activities through exhibitions and residencies, in France and abroad. Always in movement.
Currently co-founds a collective project of run-space named Jeanne Barret in Bougainville in Marseille that includes both artists and curators, productors, architects and environmental specialists.
Trained in History of Arts and exhibition practices in University. Engaged in art since 1998. Worked for differents artistics structures. She has always had an independent professionnal practice. She has been practicing music for almost always and collecting sounds during her travels.
