Portraits vidéographiques génératifs – 2014
Poursuivant la recherche menée dans les vidéographies aléatoires, Endless Portraits est une série de portraits en mouvement filmés à travers le monde (Séoul, Sicile, Bangalore, New York…). Présentés sur de grand moniteurs verticaux, ces portraits d’un nouveau genre explorent la dilatation du temps vidéographique.
Ils n’ont ni début ni fin et rejouent à l’infini, selon une écriture générative, les quelques secondes de film dont ils sont constitués.
Endless Portraits is a series of portraits in motion filmed around the world. Presented on large vertical monitors, these are portraits of a new genre exploring the extension of images through time – eternally expanding moments. They have neither beginning nor end and replay indefinitely, according to a generative writing, consisting only of a few seconds of film.
